“NEW” Afternoon Story Time

We’ve added an afternoon story time on Wednesdays from 1:30-2:30. Join us for dancing, reading, crafts and FUN! FUN! FUN! No need to register, just come on in!

Storytimes Starting in September!!!

MONDAYS 10:30-11:00

Baby Time– a 30 minute program geared for babies ages birth thru 2 yrs

20 minutes of Stories, Music and Dancing

10 minutes of Play and Socialization

TUESDAYS: 10:30-11:15

Toddler Time– a 45 minute program geared for toddlers ages 2 thru 3

30 minutes of Stories, Music and Dancing

15 minutes of Play and Socialization

WEDNESDAYS AND THURSDAYS: 10:30-11:30

Story Time– a 60 minute program geared for children ages 3, 4 and 5

Stuffed Animal Sleepover-Sunday, July 1st

Grab your pajamas, slippers, robe and your favorite stuffed animal for a LIBRARY SLEEPOVER! From 6:00-9:00 pm we will have games, crafts, prizes, snacks and PIZZA! After the party, leave your stuffed animal to “sleepover” at the library.  Come back Monday afternoon to pick them up and see all the fun they had! Each animal will leave with a “party” book telling you all about their good time! PLEASE REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT by June 25th by calling Miss Andrea @ 774-8805.

Due to the city shutting our water off on Thursday, June 14th. the library will be CLOSED. Feel free to join us on Wednesday, June 13th from 3:30-4:30 so you don’t miss any summer reading fun!

Teen Summer Reading Program-Cardboard Owls

The teens used corrugated cardboard this week to make owls!  We had 5 in total and were very happy that they all came!  Next week, don’t forget to bring a black cotton T-shirt, we are making GALAXY shirts!!

 

Level 3 Summer Reading Program-Recycled Owl Art

This project was all about recycling!  We used old can lids, cardboard, waterbottle lids and buttons to make owls!!
